There is an ongoing discussion about the need for banks to start to “rebundle” services. This is especially apt where banking is under threat by e-commerce and alternative service providers. Open Banking is one answer to keeping banks relevant, but it is an experiment with an uncertain outcome. What can we expect from Open Banking as it washes over the globe? Well, we don’t yet know what cat is in (or has been let out of) Schrodinger’s proverbial bag. This is what we’re here to discuss, and this is why it’s important to understand all sides of the issue, facing bundling of one sort or another.
