Vikram Sud is an angel investor & mentors multiple FinTech startups in Asia. These include Seynse Technologies (LoanSingh), EpiMoney (FlexiLoans), NYKAA, AsiaCollect (CreditSeva), SoCash, YoloPay, KyePot, Connaizen, 91springboard, Digivation (GlobalLinker) and others. He is a Board Member of TiE Mumbai and actively supports several accelerators / incubators.

Vikram is a Senior Advisor to Bain Consulting, Profectus Capital (ACTIS), Hexaware Technologies etc. and an Independent Director of DBS Bank India Ltd.

Previously Vikram was Citibank’s Technology and Operations Head for Asia Pacific. The 30,000 Technology & Operations staff in Asia supported all of Citi’s Consumer & Corporate businesses across 16 countries as well as the Global Shared Services Centers in Singapore, Philippines, China, Malaysia and India.

Vikram spent 5 years as Group COO at Kotak Mahindra in India where he managed Operations & Technology as well as established the Transaction Banking and Credit Card businesses.

During his initial 20-year international stint with Citibank, Vikram held various global positions including Global Operations & Technology Head of Citi’s Global Trade Finance business across 55 countries and six global hubs. He was the Global Business Head for Trade Finance and then for International Payments & Commercial Cards.

Vikram has managed businesses and the technology/operations aspect of both wholesale and retail businesses, with both multinational and domestic financial institutions. He has managed very large and diverse teams, built world class talent programs and is very well networked across the industry globally. He enjoys managing people and has mentored hundreds during his 30+ year career.

Vikram went to St Xavier’s College Kolkata, an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur and attended The Executive Program at the Darden School at the UVA. An avid golfer, he lives in Mumbai with his wife while his two sons are working on both coasts of the United States.
