Xiaodong Guo is an Engagement Manager at UL’s Transaction Security division. He is responsible for knowledge management within the smart card and mobile payment domain, and is a certified GlobalPlatform trainer for card technologies training. In various projects globally, he has taken the role of technical project manager, chief architect, test manager and more, where he developed strong knowledge and expertise regarding new developments in the area of electronic payment transactions.

Xiaodong has extensive experience in EMV (card, PoS and host), mobile and cloud-based payments (SE based and HCE, VISA cloud-based payments, MasterCard, UnionPay etc.) and GlobalPlatform related technologies such as card and messaging specifications. As a speaker, he inspires numerous audiences on the latest mobile developments, including solutions regarding tokenization, NFC, HCE, mobile wallets and other emerging payment technologies.
