Ben Elliott is Chief Executive Officer for Experian Asia Pacific, the world’s leading global information services company. Experian helps organisations and consumers manage the risk and reward of commercial and financial decisions through its information and analytical services.

Since being appointed as Chief Executive Officer for Experian Asia Pacific in April 2014, Ben has been instrumental in driving Experian’s vision of accelerating financial inclusion and literacy in the APAC region through strategic investments and partnerships.

Ben joined Experian in May 2012 as Managing Director, Decision Analytics, APAC where he was responsible for overseeing and growing Experian’s data insights and analytics business in the region. He then transited to the role of Chief Operating Officer, APAC in March 2013.

Ben has over 20 years of experience in the banking sector. Before joining Experian, he was the Network Director for Retail banking at Lloyds Banking Group, where he led over 1,400 retail branches in the United Kingdom (UK) and 18,000 people, in addition to the bank’s Mortgage and Bancassurance distribution businesses.

Prior to Lloyds, he enjoyed an 18-year career at Westpac Banking Group in Australia and New Zealand, with his most recent role as State General Manager for Queensland. Ben was also responsible for running the bank’s Private Banking, Retail and Business Banking divisions before being appointed as State General Manager for Queensland. Ben’s successes at Westpac were recognised by the Asian Banker magazine, who identified him as one of Asia’s most promising young leaders.
