Reuben Lai is the Senior Managing Director, Grab Financial Group. In this role he manages Grab's payments and financial services business in Southeast Asia and helps drive financial inclusion for the region's middle economy. Reuben's responsibilities include overseeing the Grab Financial Group's open ecosystem strategy, product roadmap development and expansion across the region.

Additionally, as Head of New Business at Grab, Reuben is constantly scouting out for new and exciting growth opportunities for the company.

Reuben joined Grab from The Walt Disney Company, where he was driving corporate strategy and new business development.

He was also previously a management consultant at Bain & Co, advising global corporations on strategy and M&A.

Reuben holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD, a Master of Science in Industry Engineering from National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
